Meals

• Registered Dietician on site

• Three nutritious home cooked meals per day with healthy snacks between as needed or desired

• Modified diets as per recommendations from physician and registered dietician

• Some fruits and vegetables are grown right here on the property

Housekeeping & Laundry

• Weekly cleaning of resident room or as needed

• Weekly laundering of bed linens or as needed

• Daily laundering of clothing or as needed

• Dry cleaning is not provided

• Ironing service is an extra charge

• Labeling service is an extra charge

Rooms

• Spacious and warmly decorated private rooms and one double room

• En suite washroom

• Fully wheel chair accessible

• High rise and handicap toilets

• Nurse call at bedside and in washroom

• Rooms wired for cable television and telephone service

• Window treatments

• Pillows, linens, and comforters provided

• Electric bed, armoire, dresser, bedside table with one lockable drawer

• Individual in room heat control

Personal Items

• Each resident is encouraged to bring in personal items in order to make their unit feel more like home

• Residents are responsible for items such as a television and service, telephone and service, chair, bedside clock and lamp.

• Plants, pictures, bedspreads, etc. are encouraged.

• Any electrical items must be CSA approved and inspected by our maintenance department prior to use by the resident.

• Due to fire regulations, such items as kettles, toasters, irons, electric blankets, and electric heating pads are not permitted in residents’ room.

Common Areas

• Spacious sitting and dining areas

• Televisions in lounge areas for residents use

• Hairdresser services and salon available on site

Facility Security and Safety

• Full protection with fire sprinklers and alarms

• Monitored fire alarm system

• Smoke and heat detectors throughout the home and in every room

• Fire extinguishers

• Centralized handicap tub and shower room

• Fully secure building with electronic controlled access

• Garden patios fully enclosed for privacy and peace of mind

• Central heat and air conditioning

• Non-smoking environment
