Evergreen’s 2nd Hand Shop – Campbell River, BC

We’re looking for a friendly, frugal, creative, and reliable person to join our team at Evergreen’s 2nd Hand Shop!

As our Community Shop Coordinator — or as we like to say, our Treasure Hunter — you'll be the heart of the shop. You’ll help keep our space running smoothly, looking amazing, and full of fresh ideas. You’ll also be part of the bigger Evergreen family, helping us create a warm, welcoming space for our Members, customers, and the whole community.

Your Day-to-Day Will Include:

• Running the till and greeting customers like they’re old friends

• Stocking shelves and making sure everything is neat, tidy, and sparkling

• Creating fresh, eye-catching displays that make people smile

• Dreaming up fun ideas for repurposing and reimagining donated treasures

• Snapping great photos and posting updates to our social media

• Pricing items thoughtfully and fairly

• Supporting our Members with creative ideas and projects

• Enjoying (and contributing to) a good playlist — love of good tunes is a must!

You’re Probably the Right Fit If You:

• Have a super keen eye for detail, presentation, and cleanliness

• Love creating, repurposing, and making something old feel new again

• Are friendly, reliable, and genuinely love helping people

• Understand the art of the perfect thrift shop find

• Work well independently but also love being part of a team

• Can navigate social media without breaking a sweat

• Believe that life is better with good music playing in the background

Bonus Points If You:

• Have retail, thrift shop, or merchandising experience

• Love DIY, crafting, or upcycling

• Want your work to support something bigger — making life better for seniors and caregivers in our community

Schedule:

• Tuesday to Saturday

• Must be willing to work Saturdays

• Part-time to full-time (depending on fit)

Wage:

• $19.00 – $22.00 per hour, depending on experience
